Yoga Tīvra [Intense]
Saturday 9.00 - 10.00 AM
Our Tivra sessions are intense and high energy. The session adapts our Yoga Padma classes and further improves strength, endurance, flexibility and breathing. For yogis ranging from beginners to advanced, who are ready to move to the next level of their yoga practice by developing a higher field of awareness. The lessons are planned with a focus on coordination between the mind, the body and breathing through various Asanas and Pranayamas. Modified asanas and advanced alignments help develop overall body strength and a tight and toned core. During the sessions, the benefit of the asanas will be explained. Props will be made available by your instructor to assist you with proper alignment and posture.

Our Padma session helps yogis to bloom like a lotus by unfolding petals of different energy levels and awareness. This is a class recommended for all students, ranging from beginners to advanced Yogis. Your teacher will assist you with modifications letting you work at a pace that is comfortable for you. Classes are designed with a primary focus on simplicity, repetition, and ease of movement. The lessons are planned for gently energising the body and the mind, including helping you to enhance your strength and flexibility. During the sessions, the benefit of the asanas will be explained. Props will be made available by your instructor to assist you with proper alignment and posture.

Our Ananda sessions will cultivate a state of Bliss to relax your body and the mind with the help of gentle, restful and calming Asanas, Pranayama (breathing techniques) and Meditation. Our class sequences contain carefully selected postures that are floor-based, including reclined and seated variants and on rare occasions even performed in the standing position. The lessons are planned with a focus on de-stressing, stretching and gently strengthening the body and the mind. During the sessions, the benefit of the asanas will be explained. Props will be made available by your instructor to assist you with proper alignment and posture.
Friday 6.00 - 6.45 AM
Meditation helps us eliminate negative emotions, anxiety and worries. It brings within us a sense of true joy and happiness. The practice of meditation carried out regularly mitigates the symptoms of anger, stress and anxiety; transporting our mind into the wonderful realm of serenity and calmness. Our Pranayama (breathing technique) sessions, will help you establish a harmonic personal connection between your mind, body and soul, further developing an innate sense of wellbeing, by existing in the present moment.
Our Tapas sessions include Pranayama, visualisation, mindfulness practices and Mantra meditation. All with an open mind and a willingness to learn, are welcomed to participate in these sessions.
